If you're applying to JHU ed, and are planning on applying for the WW fellowship, do you have to send it in by the ed deadline, or can you send it in a little bit later? Just curious.

Ashlee,
It is recommended that you submit the Woodrow Wilson research fellowship application along with your Early Decision application but this is not required. Since Wilson decisions are not made until the regular decision round, you have until the RD January 1 deadline to submit your Wilson application.

The reason we recommend submitting your Wilson application with the ED application is that information can be helpful in the review of your application by the Admissions committee. If you do choose to submit your Wilson application after you submit your ED application, just make sure to include a note with your application that you are sending the Wilson application separately.

Thank you AdmissionsDaniel,

If I send in my ed application in the next few weeks (as I'm planning on doing), and send in the WW application within the ed deadline, that won't affect my review, will it?

You see, my application is basically finished, but I know that I need more work with the WW application.

Ashlee

Yup, that absolutely works.

Good luck.

Thank you!
