I heard that most of the students in the social science field wanted to go to WW. How hard is it and is it true...(hope not) that there are several suicides after the results are announced?!

the acceptance rate into woody woo is usually around 50%. as for suicides, princeton had its first undergraduate suicide in about a decade last year, and it took place before classes even began.

when can people apply or take classes from ww?

You can take classes anytime. You apply during sophomore year, when you it's time to declare a concentration (major). Many of the Woody Woo required courses are in a variety of fields, such as economics, politics, etc. http://www.wws.princeton.edu/degree/undergraduate.html

that building is soooo nice.

The Building is pretty damn nice. I had my comparative politics class there when I attended JSA Princeton last summer.

ooooh i did JSA Yale last summer and it was incredible! I get so excited when I meet other JSAers. are you going to apply to be an RA next year?

I was planning on RAing at Stanford next year...but I'm a Stanford kid. :)

I did JSA Stanford (summer 2003)! I'd love to RA for the summer at either Stanford or Princeton (maybe Yale). JSA summer school is still the best experience of my life to date.

I never did the JSA summer program but I was VP of JSA back in high school!!! yeah!!! Is it true that Woody Woo only accepts 90 students each year?

I did JSA at Stanford 2003, philntex. what house were you in?

I second the "best experience of my life to date" comment.

Potter House. It also went by "The Best," which is probably what you heard it referred to more than its actual name :p What house were you in?

And yeah, King, Woody Woo accepts around 90 students a year. Not super competitive, but competitive enough, hehe.

just 90? seems like way more that 90 want to do it. how many do they accept into the certificate program?

Trust me, all those "Woody Woos" that seem to make up half the class of '09 on facebook will change this year and next. People look into it and find it doesn't exactly suit their academic interests or needs, so the applicant pool decreases.

wait, don't you have to graduate high school to RA for JSA?

Yeah. I'm pretty sure most if not all of us involved in this thread have graduated from HS.
