Yes, I got one today. But I just still couldn't believe it. Is there any chance of not being admitted after receiving a LL?
It says in the letter that they found my application pretty interesting, that I am really likely to be admitted, and that I am an "Irwin and Joan Jacobs Scholarship" finalist.
Please need some input asap!

That sounds like a real live likely letter. Congratulations!

good job =] and good luck!

You got it today? 5 days before decisions? Wow....which school did you apply to and when was your letter dated?

It was dated on March 13 and I am international. That is why it took so long. And I applied to College of Engineering.

you are most definitely IN.
that is a likely letter, and i've never heard of someone getting a likely letter then getting rejected.

Congrats Tsenguun, but what about Vandy?????????? You'll have to change your profile!

Haha, yeah, you are right. I am not sure. The whole thing will depend on where I could get enough scholarship. Do you guys know about "Irwin and Joan Jacobs Scholarship"?

I think Cornell is great at computer science, right? How is Vandy's com.scie compared to Cornell's?

cornell's computer science is wonderful. engineering is especially reputable! good luck tsenguun =] you have worked hard and deserve it.

From a fellow international, congrats Tsenguun!

Thank you! I am now patiently waiting for FA letter. This will decide everything. Money is a big problem for me and my family.

I received the Jacob scholarship as well... Does anyone have any idea what the benefits are? I hear 30-40 people receive it .....
