Worcester st. VS. Oneonta VS. Southern conn

Putting finances aside I can't decide I visited all them and going a second time this week I will be an elementary education major and I am having a tough time.

Southern Connecticut State University:
Pros: I love how close it is to home and I have a cousin who goes there but she doesn't stay in dorms. The campus is really nice and the kid of people that I like to hang out with go there.

Cons: The only thing I hate about this are the dorms they are just unappealing to me and dorm rooms is a huge thing for me.

Worcester State University:
Pros: The dorms are phenomenal, the campus is beautiful

Cons: Its the farthest one away from home and the campus is a little bit small

SUNY Oneonta:
Pros: It has a rely nice campus and atmosphere

Cons:The town around it sucks( I know because my other cousin goes to Hartwick) It has a party school reputation.

I want to know if you guys have any insight or other good or bad things I might not know about I really can't decide and I would love to make a decision soon.

There is no rush. You have until May 1 to decide.

Oneonta used to have a party reputation, probably still does. And if you are wanting to avoid that, consider applying to Framingham State. The deadline is FEB-15, so you can still make it.

Framingham has the top reputation for teacher education (look into it yourself), highest academic profile of the MA state colleges, and it’s a dry campus. The dorms have all been renovated, as well as most everything else on campus, and they are opening a brand new suite style dorm in the fall. The campus is surprisingly nice compared to the other MA state colleges IMO.

If you really like Worcester State, it might be worth having Framingham as an option to consider.

Thanks and I already toured Framingham the same day I looked at Worcester I just didn’t liek it as much it wasn’t really my style but thanks for the input!
