Word limit on Cornell Supplement

<p>I just finished my essay but I'm over the word limit by about 20 words. I really can't make it any more concise without removing some important details. i was wondering if 520 words instead of 500 will hurt my chances. if it does, then i guess i gotta remove some good stuff</p>

<p>I doubt they’re counting, they probably just want it so it isn’t like 700 or 800 words…something that is very obviously not 500 words.</p>
