<p>Hi everyone. I'm applying to UW, and on their web page for the application where it explains the essays, it says "two double-spaced pages", but on their actual online application it says "no more than 500 words". My essay is like 650, but it is under two double-spaced pages. Also, when I pasted it into the box, it didn't cut off any of it.</p>

<p>So what do I do? Is my essay length okay, or should I cut it down? Which direction should I follow?</p>

<p>well, you don't know if it cuts until you send and usually at that point it either stops you with an error message or sends 500 spaces... I don't know if I would chance it.</p>
