Word Limit Question

<p>My Common App essay is about 650 words long. I know there is a 500 limit but it's also not enforced and my essay IS under a page. It's interesting, and reading it, I don't feel that its dragging/rambling, but my question is will it seem really long in comparison to others that adcoms read and will that work against me? </p>

<p>I don't really want to cut anything out...but if its length will end up being a bad thing, I'll try.

<p>When you print it out you will see that part of it gets cut off. Stick to the 500 words or less or you will come off as a rambler. You need to be able to net out the story or impression you’re trying to make. Try! :)</p>
