Ok…let me see if I have this straight. For UC essays, you are supposed to write 600-630 words for the “extended” one and be within several words of 200 for the two shorter ones. So how strict is the 1000 total word limit? Do they care if you are 20 words over? Because from their guidelines, you basically have to run a little over…but I read somewhere that 1000 was the max no matter what. As the deadline is fast approaching, help would be greatly appreciated! 
<p>it says no essays over 630 words (for the long one) will be sent. here's what im doing-- just get really really close, but you CAN go a little over, just use your best judgment.</p>
<p>u have to submit it online and the essay MAX is 1000 words. ur three essays MUST add up toe 1000 words. once its at 1000 it stops and u cant add anymore. fyi</p>
