What is the appropriate length of the "Why Yale" essay? Is 200-300 words appropriate or does that seem too short?

Thank you!

Uh. It says please limit to the space provided. So good luck fitting 200 words in that tiny little box.

I just typed my name (five letters) into the box as many times as it would fit. It went in 84 times so I would try to keep your response to around that many words.

200-300 words is not happening.

I think it's limited to 500 characters if I figured correctly. I'd check just to make sure. It'll take some tweaking, but I'm sure it'll work out.

Have not tried it online (so limits may be different) but paper version is 5 lines. D's developed her answer in word and when kept to no more than 5 lines is 76 words.

200-300 words seems to far from what is expected for that space.

The limit is definitely 500 characters, spaces included. Just tried it online.

With the character info, D's 76 words in the 5 lines is 440 characters. Those 200-300 words will be a problem.

All right, thanks everyone!
