had 3 AP's + 2 honors classes junior year got 3 A-'s first semester. All A's next semester

This senior year i took 4 AP's and i probably tried the hardest out of all my years. Got a B. B+ and 2 A-'s... never gotten B's before. Anyways, not feel the need to overload yourself and just take a normal courseload. It will always be better to take a slightly less difficult courseload and get A's rather than risk a B.

Dont feel the pressure of colleges thinking you are selecting an easy schedule. This turned around against me.

If you are applying to top universities, don't overload yourself thinking you can drop classes second semester. A few of my friends got letters from the universities saying their acceptance would be revoked if they dropped classes.

and don't think you can do more than your junior year.

SAT(if there is any), college apps and essays, jobs?, ec. the two years are just the same.

and yeah do not overload yourself. almost everyone slacks off his/her senior year. you'll end up getting bad grades and being frustrated and want to kill yourself.

If you are taking less than 5 major courses and are applying to most selective colleges, you may regret it in april...you don't need to take 5 ap's, but you should try and continue the rigor you had in junior year your senior year of high school...we pay A LOT of attention to what you are taking senior year at the most selective colleges and universities...

I took 3 APS, 1 Honors, and 2 Standard level. I'm interested in my Standard level classes and have As in both. I have an A/A- in the Honors course. Although my APs are A-,B,B+/B, my GPA is still good because of the lower level classes without sacrificing too much coure rigor.

lol I just got the worst grades I've ever gotten throughout highschool this semester for senior year: A, A, B, B, C. This is shocking for me because I'm a 3.8UW student, but whatever.
