<p>We have been solicited to purchase a software program called Word Smart that includes a set of DVDs to teach vocabulary and math skills to kids to help them gain "at least 200 points" on the SAT. They are very slick in their marketing and do a hard sell. This is NOT the book by the same title that I understand is useful.</p>
<p>Does anyone on the forum have experience using this software (was it helpful to your child? worth the high price? hard to return if you don't want it after the trial period?). Looking at the internet entries on "Word Smart scam" makes me very leery.</p>
