Work experience abroad or in US?

In regards to an MBA, do b-schools, especially the top 15, care where the work experience is done? Mainly my question is if I decide to work abroad for my work experience before attempting to achieve an mba, is there any downside to working abroad instead of in the United States? Or is it beneficial?

It probably depends on where it is. All else being equal, I can’t imagine working in Europe vs. the US would make any major difference. Working in a developing/undeveloped country would probably help you as it is more unique and will help you stand out more.
Working in Asia/India may hurt you, as there is a serious oversupply of well qualified Asians.
