I was a paid programmer/worker (not minimum wage) at a web-designing company for two consecutive summers. Do I need to provide my income and tax report to the colleges that I’m applying to in order to prove that I was an actual worker there? I’m awfully confused.
Nope. Like any other extracurricular, you just list it in the activities section. It’s taken on honor that you’re telling the truth.
I don’t think they care about your salary in admissions, except that it was paid work.
@SpringAwake15 Thanks for the clarification. Also, how should I phrase this on my common app activities list? I was thinking “Paid programmer at ______ company.” Though, I’m not sure if this is the most presentable way to list this. Any thoughts?
That is fine.
