<p>Does working as a private tutor count towards work experience? If so, would the UCs later need proof that I was a private tutor? I worked for a family, but they just paid me and never gave me any paper work or anything... Will that be trouble for me later on if the UCs need verification? Do they even need verification?</p>
<p>I wrote down “private tutor” for work experience on all of my apps. I doubt they’ll need verification with the loads of apps they need to look over.</p>

<p>They won’t ask for confirmation (I did a lot of paid and volunteer tutoring in high school, and put it on my applications. I applied to 5 schools of different sizes and selectivity, nobody asked for any kind of confirmation.)</p>
