I have worked at a law firm for the past three summers (since the summer before I was a freshman in high school) and this past year I have begun working year-round. My question is, would this look good on college applications and would this even be something worth mentioning? I was fourteen at the time that I first began working there and I am now soon-to-be eighteen. :) Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Also, this is really my only “work experience”, unless you consider babysitting to be a “job”. :)

I don’t think work experience even has a place on the application. I haven’t seen it on no app I filled out. That being said, it doesn’t matter. They only care about volunteer work. You could however talk about it during your interview and on your essay. You could talk about it and how much you learned from it. Also, some apps had an activities section. You could add it there theoretically.

Directly from the common app:
There used to be an entire section dedicated to work experience, but they are combining it with EC’s this year.

Thanks, 4khaos! :)
