work experience

the sparknotes website says harvard does NOT consider work experience.....how come?

sparknotes is wrong

Harvard does consider work experience in terms of evaluating applicants for admission. Having had work experience (including menial jobs or jobs in a family business such as helping out at a family restaurant) can be an admissions plus.

Perhaps Sparknotes meant that Harvard doesn't give academic credit for applicants' high school work experience .

i had zero work experience when i applied an i still got in, so it is not a huge factor at all.
