<p>How exactly does work experience look on an application?</p>

<p>If you've worked the entire 4 years of highschool (including the school year) and having a management position for a year+ of that time?</p>

<p>I know it can't hurt ... I guess I'm just wondering exactly how much the schools like seeing something like that.</p>
<p>It should look as good as most other ec's, if not better. It definetely shows that you're dedicated and good at time management.</p>
<p>Most colleges place it under "Considered"; however, I read an article that colleges are beginning to place more gravity on work experience because it shows you aren't just joining a bunch of clubs so you can put them on your college apps.</p>
