Work Experience?

Ok, I had two questions regarding volunteer and work experience. I have been volunteering frequently for the red cross, american caner society, a local hopsital and congressman, and various churches (I teach sunday school and vacation bible school to second graders.) Therefore, do those reflect my interests of medicine, children, politics, and my faith enough through volunteer work. (Awards and ECs asside) In addition, from 4th to 10th grade I had a paper route where I would work everyday to try and save money for college (as a fouth grader, I really didn't know much about scholarships). Other than that, however, I don't have any "real" work experience. However, is this enough work experience to apply to decent universities such as Georgetown and etc?

THANKS for your time!

Yes, definitely. You sound like a very interesting person! The important thing isn't that you have worked a certain amount or have volunteered x number of hours, but that you're an interesting person who will contribute to the life of the university, and it sounds like you would, and it sounds like a place like Georgetown would be a great place for you, based on your interests.
