Work hard play hard

What are some colleges that have a real work hard play hard attitude? Colleges that provide a quality education but have students that love to have a good time and party. (additional criteria: preferably colleges with more than 4,000 students)

Michigan State lol.

But really, most any college will have a work hard/play hard attitude. It’s what happens when you throw a bunch of 18-22 year olds together.

University of Texas at Austin
University of Pittsburgh
University of Wisconsin- Madison
University of Michigan

Seconding Romani.

There are some schools which are academically more serious than others, but walk down frat row on a Friday night, and you’d disagree with that assessment. For instance, I’m not sure if my friend at Harvard has spent a weekend sober since his junior year of high school. Alternately, a guy from my high school goes to UCSB (an ENORMOUS party school) and adamantly refuses to drink.

Lehigh University
Dartmouth

University of Miami.
University of Florida.

Well since we are listing schools:

University of Oklahoma
Georgia Tech
UCLA
UC Berkeley
UCSB
USC (both of them)
Washington & Lee
Sewanee
University of Illinois
University of Washington
CU-Boulder
Penn State
Chapman

Michigan
UVA
Texas
UCLA
UCB
USC
Wisconsin

I’d disagree with the “work hard” half of any other that has been listed here.

Yes because clearly the only thing Georgia Tech students do is party.

UCSB!

10Char

I’ve spent a weekend down at GaTech, they don’t party near the level of a lot of these other school. Oh and Dartmouth and Cornell would definitely qualify for this as well.

You and I must have gone on different weekends lol.

Also I’m pretty sure that students at University of Oklahoma work hard.

Almost any school.

I’m shocked
