Work load?

This kind of scared me when I ran across it...

Princeton Review Rankings: Their Students Never Stop Studying
How many out-of-class hours do you spend studying each day?
1 Reed College
*2 Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering *
3 California Institute of Technology
4 University of Chicago
5 Harvey Mudd College
6 Bennington College
7 Wabash College
8 Massachusetts Institute of Technology
9 Swarthmore College

I'm all for studying and hard work, but I would like some time to relax and enjoy college.

Your thoughts? How many hours a day do you study, and what kind of studying do you do (ie. reading a text book or something more out of the box)? And do you have time for ECs and hobbies without sacrificing sleep?

That scared me too a little but the thing is that at Olin, everyone is an engineering student, and everyone studies. At bigger schools, the engineering kids might study as much as Oliners, but since there are also kids with other slacker majors that probably don't study as much, these schools wouldn't make the list. I hope that made a little sense.

All lists like these should be taken with a big grain of salt anyway, if you'll pardon the cliche.
