<p>The only reason I can think of is that I declined my loans, so then they converted me to the maximum work-study? I probably should have done that anyway.</p>

<p>If you end up not using any of your work study fund, you will probably not get any next year.</p>
<p>I know I'm going to use some of it. If I don't use it all, will they take some away next semester/year?</p>
<p>You can always (most of the time) convert your subsidized loans to workstudy.</p>
