Would the work study money I receive be a part of my income for cal grant? So if my parents make 79000 a year, and I get 1500 for work study, would my income be 80,500 dollars and make me ineligible for cal grant (If the cal grant income ceiling is 80,000)? Thank you.

I have two more questions: If I applied for a cal grant this year as a senior in high school and was not eligible, will I have to send a GPA verification form the next year I apply for cal grants? Also, if I meet all the requirements next year, will I still be able to be eligible for a cal grant ENTITLEMENT (not competitive) A or B the next year I apply? Thank you very much.

no, work study is a part of your aid so it doesn’t count. I think yes you can apply to cal grant A next year if you qualify with a 3.0 since you apply every year. Cal Grant B is only based on income (and a 2.0 GPA min.)
