<p>Is work-study income included under both "total earnings" (Question 38) and "taxable earnings from work-study" (Question 43c)?</p>
<p>I don’t know the line numbers on the current FAFSA…but work study income is included in total wages earned. Then there is a second place where you indicate your work study income. This is then subtracted when the FAFSA calculates your EFC because work study is not counted as earnings for financial aid purposes even though it is taxable income.</p>
