work study resumes

So ... what do work study employers (like, professors at your school) actually want to see on your resume?

It's annoying because google has all this irrelevant info on resumes not specifically pertaining to clinching that competitive work study position.

(This is for a science position btw.)

Like, should you include non-science work experience on there, that has nothing to do with academics?

If you are an undergraduate, then yes. I included my work study on my resume as have friends who are applying for very competitive jobs. Eventually, sooner rather than later, you will have accomplished more and it will be bumped.
