Quick question. Our son got a modest amount of work study (like $500) which was split into 2 semesters @250 each. As he’s a freshman this semester, is it ok to do most of the work the second semester, I.e. earn $100 this semester and $400 the second semester?
Contact the school and ask them.
Where my kids went to college…the work study amount was for the year. You couldn’t exceed that amount in a years time. Sounds like this school might be awarding by semester.
Schools often split awards into semesters, but FWS is generally “really” an amount for the whole year. I am 99.9999% sure they will tell you yes, but do ask to be sure.
