is it easy or hard to find jobs and what kind of jobs are there?

The Corp, run by Georgetown students, is the largest student-run corporation in the world.

They run 3 coffee shops, the grocery store, a book co-op, student storage, and the student credit union. Anyone at Georgetown can get a job at these places, especially if you have a work-study.

My S delivered mail on campus for a year or two. He said it was a very easy job.

ok, thanks. i just wanted to make sure that i’d be able to find something once i got there or i’d never be able to afford it.

You actually don’t even need a workstudy award to work for the Corp, or for an RHO (residence hall office),which is a great job because you get paid to sit in an office and do your homework 90% of the time. With an award, though, there are tons and tons of jobs on campus, it’s definitely easy to find something within your interests and schedule/commitment range. Check out the student employment office’s website: http://seo.georgetown.edu, that lets you search for workstudy and non workstudy jobs on and off-campus.
