Work Study?

I'm trying to apply for on-campus jobs right now, and they are all asking me if I have work study, and what my allocation is. I got work study in my Unofficial Aid Letter; however, I still don't know the official amount, since my official financial aid hasn't been released yet. What should I do? I want to apply for jobs now, and I'm scared that if I wait too long for my official letter, then it might be too late. These jobs have training days in the first couple days of school, so I'm assuming they'll hire before then.

The library hires around 300 people alone, I’m sure you’ll be fine!

whoa, i don’t get work study but how can i sign up online for jobs? i’ve been to a few websites but i don’t see an ‘apply online’ button anywhere.

Most of the applications I have seen are online, they are pdf files and you can fax/email some of them.

augieb1992, the UCSB Housing department’s online job listing are ones you might want to check every once in a while: [UCSB Student Employment Page](http://appl.housing.ucsb.edu/InHouse/student_employment/applications/default.aspx)

There is also an online job search at the UCSB Career Center’s website (you can filter it to show on-campus jobs only): https://ucsb-csm.symplicity.com/students/index.php?cck=1&au=&ck=

I don’t think there’s an online page for UCen employment… I think there’s a PDF online, and there are paper applications in the office there.

This is the online page for UCen employment
