What do students who work do when they cannot take classes they need due to the time and days they work?

Do universities offer solutions to these problems or is it up to the student to figure something out?

If you have work during the days it’s probably best to go to university part time, find a part time job or drop one and focus on that. Trying to do full time job and school is setting yourself up for disaster.

I was not talking about working full time and going to school . Let’s say for example, that someone needs a specific class that is being offered on Mondays from 1:00-3:00 or Tuesdays 3:00-5:00. If that person works on Mondays and Tuesdays, does the university offer other options or is it up to the student to figure out how to take the class?

It’s not like the university is going to offer a separate lecture timing just for you…you have to fit your schedule around the school timings. Either get work shifted, sign up for the class and miss lecture, or take the class in the future.
