Working during school?

My friend recommended me for a job, and they're wanting me to come in for an interview. I would like a job to earn money on the side, but I'm afraid of how of if I'll be able to handle it, along with school and college applications. What do you think?

They did say I would only have to work 1 day a week at the least.

MY SENIOR SCHEDULE:

AP Biology

AP French 4

AP Calculus BC

AP Euro

Forensic Science

AP Gov/AP Eco

AP English Lit

I’d keep work to a minimum, if at all if I was you.

I don’t have a job and have no idea how some people do it.

So you’re saying I shouldn’t take the job?

How many hours is the one day a week?

If it doesn’t work…you can always stop.

Grades and applications come first.
Tell them thanks, but your job for the time being is to keep up good grades to get into college.
BTW, have you finished taking your SATs/ACT?
If not, your plate is full.

Yeah, I’m still planning on taking my ACT and 2 or 3 Subject Tests.

She said that she wasn’t sure.

I work one day a week (I’d like to work more, but they won’t give me hours) and it hasn’t been a problem at all. It’s not any worse than any other EC. Tons of people work in high school.

But what do you think w/ my schedule and load?

I already work 2 hours a week at my church.
