Working for the FBI

Hi guys.

Right now I'm a freshman at Duke University. I'm currently a Biomedical Engineering major on the premed track. However, after thinking about my strengths and weaknesses, I've decided that the best job for me would be one that involves forensics. I would love to join the FBI and work in intelligence and eventually become a special agent.

I'm wondering what you think would be the best thing to major in. Duke doesn't have a traditional criminology major. I could stay in engineering, but I don't know if BME is very applicable to forensics.

Psych, Math, or Pre-Law would be the best majors.

pre-law is a ****ty major

i would stick with BME
you’ll probably find much better jobs than working for the FBI with that major anyway

You should stick with an engineering, science (computer), or something that isn’t pre-law or psych.

If you want to become a Special Agent, you should apply for that position right off the bat.
