Hi everyone,
I'm just starting up my college search and I'm having a pretty difficult time figuring out where to apply, just because I am kind of a unique student. I have pretty high SAT scores (~2200) and pretty solid ECs, but my grades are relatively low. In general, I have struggled in math and science courses because I have a learning impediment diagnosed where I have a difficult time interpreting numbers, symbols and other visual representations. I can solve short, multiple choice questions, but put a large physics problem in front of me and I'll be miserable. My teachers know that I work hard , but my grades haven't really reflected my work ethic.
I'd like to go to a smaller size school, but be at a place with good school spirit as well. Some schools that I've visited and liked are: Dartmouth, Williams, Davidson and Bowdoin. However, I'd like to find some similar places to apply which are less selective.

Here are my stats:
2180 SAT
Varsity athlete in two sports, possibly three next year
Head of a Community Service Group
Editor of Two Publications
but..
G.P.A/approximate ranking (school doesn't rank but has class profile) in the bottom half at a top tier prep school (think Exeter, Andover, St. Paul's, Deerfield)

Thanks
