Working in College

I will be a Computer Science Major @ CSU, I plan on taking 14+ Credits a semester, my family is not well endowed at all so I do plan on working, but how many hours would you recommend?

They offered me a work study, but the hours are limited and I could earn more transferring and continuing my job off campus, with the option to continue my job on breaks, and promotion opportunity as well as the option to increase my hours.

I do however expect my classes to be very time consuming, the classes I will be taking have required lab hours, and require hours of study time. On top of social life, not sure if I could or would want to devote 20 hours a week to work, what would be your suggestion?

I will be working full-time starting in May until August, on top of money I have saved, I won't be stretched for spending money.

good question. I read somewhere that anything over 10-15 hours per week is too much while in college. It forces you to budget your time while not being overwhelming. good luck
