Working Style?

What do you prefer from the following sets when it comes to college?:

(a) Spiral Notebooks/Composition Notebooks OR Binders
(b) Pens OR Pencils
(c) Post it Notes OR Index Cards

For me:
(a) Spiral Notebooks
(b) Pens
(c) Post it Notes

We’re the same! haha

(a) Spiral Notebooks
(b) Pens - I don’t like pencils; only mechanical pencils but only for math classes.
(c) Post it Notes

a) Cheap spiral notebooks, reinforced with duct tape.
b) Pens for everything, generally .7 mm or smaller.
c) Index cards.

a) 5 Subject Spiral Notebook
b) Pens (mainly because I can barely read my own writing and pens seem easier to read than pencils) I like the ones that have a gel like area at the bottom where you fingers go, otherwise I get blisters after writing for some reason ;-x
c) Neither

Spiral Notebooks (actually Circa, which combines both… but if I have to choose between spiral and binders, the space the spiral saves wins)

Pens (except in math related classes, then mechanical pencils)

Both (I cannot choose between post-its and index cards as they serve separate purposes for me… Post-its for reminders and quick notes, like phone numbers and whatnot, and cards for flashcards and to-go reference notes/outlines)

(a) Spiral Notebooks
(b) Pens (because I hate smuding; I even use[d] pens in math throughout high school)
(c) Post-it Notes (as they are relevant for marking up books, which I hate writing in)

Spiral notebooks and pens.

I don’t use Post-Its or index cards.

A) Composition notebook for english classes (spirals get annoying when you start bumping them) and spirals for everything else
B) Pens except for math and then its a mechanical pencil
C) Post-it-Notes

spiral notebooks
pens
index cards (but i rarely use them)

a) spiral notebooks
b) pencils
c) post-it notes

a) binders
b) pens
c) I hate both…but I guess I prefer sticky notes

a) Spiral Notebooks.
Binders never work with me, and they always get broken leaving papers and whatnot everywhere.

b) Mechanical Pencils
I don’t know, but my handwriting gets 3x more sloppy when writing with pens.

c) God, neither. I despise index cards. I can never keep them in a single place all together and they are messy. I hated when hs classes required them.

a) Spiral notebooks

b) Good pens

c) Neither

a) Mead Five Star notebooks.
b) Pencils. I hate writing in pen.
c) Neither.

(a) Spiral Notebooks, not a fan of composition and I’ve always hated binders
(b) Pencils, I actually prefer pens because I’m a lefty so pencils smudge when I write but as an engineering student I’ve ended using pencils more often
(c) Post it Notes OR Index Cards…hmmm I hardly use either

a) Spiral artist sketchbooks. Thick paper and no lines is nice for notes.
b) Pens. Pencils are for children. I’ve occasionally taken engineering tests using a pen just to show off.
c) Neither. Both are in my desk somewhere but I rarely use them.

A) Binders. I’m surprised by the number of posters who bother with cheap notebooks. Not only are binders reusable, lose-leaf paper is much cheaper than notebooks. My binders serve as both a notebook and an effective organizational tool for each class. Super economical. No notebooks, no folders, all reusable!

B) Pens, I have a very quick hand, felt tipped pens seem to keep my penmenship beautiful whereas ball-point pens look typically boyish.

C) I really don’t use index cards. Rarely I use post-it-notes for things like “GET MILK” hehe.

^^ Binders are bulky, and pages can’t be inserted without making a ton of noise.

I love this thread, this is exactly what I have been debating with myself all day lol

^^ Sorry I’m an engineer. Was that sarcasm?

I really want to open a thread about what kind of pen do you use and why…but I might be the only one who has that fetish.
