Would colleges consider a student who has two part time jobs to help ease their parent's finances?

Like for me, both my parents work, but most of the money goes to paying the rent and other stuff. So I got myself two part time jobs (it does really cut back on social life), to help them out (like for many senior things, like dues and such, I pay, and school supplies I pay for some of it).

This does contribute to a lack of ECs for me, b/c I do work weekends (7 hours a day..)

bS - I'm in a similiar situation and I wrote a letter to the regional rep for my reach school (UPenn) explaining it and the typical EC's I've given up in order to maintain a job so I could contribute to my parochial high school tuiton.

Eckie - Yea, I wrote to Maryland (CP) about it and the problems that had led towards my families finaincial problems (unemployment, and eviction is all I will say). Also, it does prove I can manage time well, for as holding 2 jobs, I have 3 APS, and honors calc, and am still managing a 3.71, while last year, dealing with the aftemath of before-mentioned problems, but had no part time job, I was in a slump of 2.85.
