Does working at a store or a restaurant count as work experience AND hours of community service or just work experience?

just work experience
unless ur not getting paid, then its volunteer

Well I’m working for my parents for free, does that count as Community service or Volunteer hours? Or both? Or is there no difference?

Sorry for being such a noob, but I gotta start somewhere.

?

redorchid is incorrect. Community service benefits the community. “Volunteering” at a for-profit place, such as a store or restaurant, is not community service. If your parents owned a soup kitchen that gave free food out, then yes, it would be considered community service. So to answer your question, you will have gained work experience.
