I was accepted to McGill and am contemplating whether to go (I'm pretty sure i want to...) but I was just wondering how heavy the workload is and if it is usually of the nightly busywork variety or of the reading and writing papers variety. Also wondering what language courses are like, since i've heard they are really difficult.

I just want to make sure I won't fall behind and will find the work interesting.

Thanks.

Well the first thing to know is what faculty you were accepted into and what sort of classes you are going to take.

I'm in science and I don't think it is too terrible.

mcgill is known for their 1st year science bootcamp. i think everyone has to take 2 calc's, 2 physics, 2 chems, and 1 bio.

I'm in the faculty of Arts. I'm looking into the Contemporary German Studies major with a german language minor. But i'm not sure. maybe north american studies.

i'm pretty sure they have their course catalog online, with requirements and electives and everything
