I’m looking to hear from any alumni or current students about the work load and stress at specifically the wharton school. Is it an unmanageable amount of work and stress that Wharton students have absolutely no life?
Penn is competitive and students are in general quite intense. Specifically most wharton classes are not conceptually that hard but there is intense competition and a fairly steep curve (not as steep as science or engineering classes tho). Whether you will have a life or not depends on your time management skills and also what you want to study and how much you are willing to take on. I person concentrating on management does not have the same workload as a person doing a dual degree between wharton and CAS, and concentrating on finance, opim and management at wharton (just to give you an example).
