hey guys, im about to start at columbia(gs), and im wondering how hard the workload is. how many credits do people usually take in a semester? i transferred in, so i need another 64 credits to graduate, and id like to do it in 4 semesters. thats about 16 credits every semester. im majoring in econ, so ill be taking a bunch of econ classes, plus a few classes to complete the core - art, music, humanities. is it manageable at columbia?

most people take 5 courses per semester, and that’s about 16 credits for Columbia. the info is on the website.

16 credits per semester is entirely doable. You’ll (probably) have to work pretty hard, but it’s completely doable.
