World Cup 2014 @ Brazil

@Hawkace You and everyone on Reddit!
Nah but they are pretty good (Belgium)

I really want Nelgium after my Native Korea.

Italy is debatable. @mrnephew‌

England is def making it. Uruguay def has a chance. We shouldn’t dismiss them because of last year.

http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_root/article/media_slots/photos/001/240/769/GroupPlayGrid630_original.jpg?1386355791

Here are the groups if anybody is wondering.

Thats probably for the best, Colombia’s attack seemed completely fine during their Senegal friendly without Falcao.
I have not heard of the antiheat gear, I’ll have to look that up. Another factor to take into account is that, much like what happened in 2010, every south american team (with maybe an exception to Argentina because of the rivalry) will be playing with a “home crowd” advantage.

@Hakface Belgium look really solid and got drawn into a relatively easy group. However as soon as they play in the Round of 16, they’ll be playing against Ghana, Portugal, or Germany. This limits their chances a bit. Another dark horse candidate, in my opinion, is Chile. If they can manage to make it past that dreadful group they have the skills to make it to the semi’s or even the finals.

I don’t know about England. I think I prefer Suarez-Cavani.

And Pirlo, Balotelli, etc.

I’ll take Uruguay and Italy from that group. Uruguay has a really solid team

That is what in thinking. Although if Rooney shows up for once…

England got Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney, Walcott, Carrick, etc. They’re good.

Forlan, Suarez, and Cavani is the triple threat. They’re good too.

Not to mention Godin at the back.

Gerard and Lampard are getting old, and we can argue about the quality of Walcott all day. And Carrick’s form this year was abysmal.

@hawkace you’re right, it’s gonna be Germany and then Ghana.

It’s going to be Brazil winning it. If you want to talk about stacked, you talk about Brazil. Best defense: Marcelo, Thiago Silva, Dani Alves, Maicon, and David Luiz. They have a great midfield in Willian/Oscar/Ramires, and also Paulinho and Fernandinho, who are all in the Premier League, not to mention that the first three (Willian/oscar/ramires) are all from Chelsea. Finally, Neymar and Hulk are playin up top as strikers. Best team ever, and they’re all looking like they’re in great form and are workin together well.

Belgium seems like they are probably a bust; I don’t think any of their players have World Cup experience. Hazard/lukaku seems like a good mix at first glance, but both are ball hoggish. Anyways, we’ll see what happens in 9 days.

@afroninja26‌ Fred will probably be in at striker. As for their defense, most of those are basically midfielders.

I don’t watch soccer and Russia is a superpower so I just sort of through the name out their

Don’t forget Portugal, who has the best player in the world right now…

And I’m sticking with Germany this year. Way too OP, even more so than Brazil. Lahm, Hummels, boateng, Mertesacker, Kroos, Schweini, Khedira, Goetze, Oezil, Reus, Gundogan, Klose, Draxler…

Oh and not to mention the best GK in the world right now, Manuel Neuer.

I honestly don’t see how
A) Brazil isn’t going to choke
B) Mexico is going to make it out of the group
C) Spain is going to win
D) England is going to get out of the group (for those who say that they have Walcott, he tore his ACL in February or so; please look at the WC squads before making a judgment)
E) NO ONE is picking the USA to make it out of the group.

I’ve got Germany over either Belgium or Argentina in the final. The USA, if they don’t make it out, WILL at least beat Ghana.

@‌Ibad96
If you think USA is going to beat Ghana, then all hell will break loose. I’m an American but Ghana is pretty good.

USA might upset Portugal though.

Maybe I’m being a little conceited to act like I know more than Del Bosque but he’s made some puzzling decisions so far. I could actually see the Netherlands beating Spain and winning that group. With Navas injured and with Carvajal left at home, they have a very slow right side that is going suffer against a team with a good left winger like Robben.

Robben is going into play in a 4-4-2 or a 3-5-2, so Spain won’t have to deal with him bombing down the middle.
