World Cup 2014 @ Brazil

I don’t think so. Ribery and Pogba, Griezmann, and Benzema.

LOL France losing to Nigeria?

That would be really sad…

Are you high? The French would crush Nigeria.

Not with their constant disharmony. Not to mention that France tend to do poorly in World Cups held outside Europe.

Disharmony or not, Ribery-Benzema-Griezmann front line would crush Nigeria. And it wouldn’t be remotely close.

Not to mention Pogba in the middle…

Mangala and Evra at the back too.

Germany all the way!!!
I picked Spain last year and won some money from my bracket! I plan on doing the same again this year!

Oh, and on a side note… I AM GOING TO THE US NATIONAL GAME ON SATURDAY AGAINST NIGERIA!! I’ve never been to one before so I am SOOO pumped.

I really like Germany’s chances.

england bc luke shaw :x

Here’s to hoping Man Utd. get him.

@mrnephew‌ um, yes it WOULD be close. You’re underrating and overlooking Nigeria. We boast a powerful striker in Emenike, tantalizing wingers in Musa, Obinna, and Moses, and a marshal in John Obi Mikel. I’ve not seen much of Griezmann, and Evra has lost steps because of his season with United. He’s not even that good at all anymore.

@imagineer10‌ SO LUCKY!!! I wish that the US-Nigeria game and the US-Turkey game had switched locations so I could go to the game against Nigeria…as a Nigeria fan, though.

Since both of my parents are Ghanian, I’m hoping that they at least make it to the finals of their division.

Super excited, but I still have to watch it in Spanish because I don’t have cable. I root for underdogs constantly, so I hope Japan wins.

I’m sure those wingers and attacking force is underrated. But if you think those guys come anywhere close to Ribery-Benzema-Griezmann… you are severely, criminally mistaken.

Not to mention Pogba in the middle, and that Evra, while not as fast or defensively apt as he was in his peak, is still a productive player.

@mrnephew‌ I never said that they were on the level of those three. But don’t sleep on Nigeria.

@lbad96 Every time I hear about the Nigerian team I always think of this <a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube;

Not sleeping on 'em. But I’m also asserting that there is literally a snowball’s chance in hell that they move past France. Just looked at the French team roster and I was surprised to see how much more talent they have.

Defense:

Evra
Eliaquim Mangala
Raphael Varane (REALLY GOOD)
Bacary Sagna
Hugo Lloris
Koscielny

Midfield:

Yohan Cabaye
Paul Pogba
Blaise Matuidi (PSG Winger)

And in attack, on top of the aforementioned trio, the French have Loic Remy and Olivier Giroud. Let me reassert, THERE’S NO WAY NIGERIA GETS PAST FRANCE.

That amount of talent isn’t really apparent in almost any team, save for the powerhouses like Spain, Germany, Brazil (Maybe not even), Argentina, and Netherlands.

Ugh, the U.S. is in the group of death this year. As much as I want to be optimistic, I really don’t like their chances this year. I wouldn’t be surprised if they lost all three of their matches this year…
