<p>@mrnephew um, yes it WOULD be close. You’re underrating and overlooking Nigeria. We boast a powerful striker in Emenike, tantalizing wingers in Musa, Obinna, and Moses, and a marshal in John Obi Mikel. I’ve not seen much of Griezmann, and Evra has lost steps because of his season with United. He’s not even that good at all anymore. </p>

<p>I’m sure those wingers and attacking force is underrated. But if you think those guys come anywhere close to Ribery-Benzema-Griezmann… you are severely, criminally mistaken.</p>

<p>That amount of talent isn’t really apparent in almost any team, save for the powerhouses like Spain, Germany, Brazil (Maybe not even), Argentina, and Netherlands.</p>
<p>Ugh, the U.S. is in the group of death this year. As much as I want to be optimistic, I really don’t like their chances this year. I wouldn’t be surprised if they lost all three of their matches this year…</p>
