****...World Cup

Definitely agree with the Cote D'avoire sentiment. If CA was in Group D, for example, I am pretty certain they would have advanced.

f*** my fing country played like S again!!! goddamn it!!!!

How the hell do we tie Angola...I'm going to go shot myself now.

Yeah, the Ivory Coast is a smooth team.

I'm a Croatia fan myself.

Yes! The Ivory Coast is AWESOME...I agree w/ everyone that they are the strongest African team and would've advanced if not for their bad draw...I'm rooting for them next tournament! I esp. love that the govt and rebel army of the Ivory Coast agreed to peace talks just so their team could go to the World Cup...football is awesome! Trinidad & Tobago also put up a good fight yesterday (?).

I'm personally rooting for Germany...Lu Lu Lu Lukas Podolski!

Ivory coast would have definitely made it to the next round if they weren't placed in their killer group.

As a Czech fan, I'm beginning to really dislike US commentators. "Lets hope Ghana beats the Czech Republic"...

Valid point........don't blame you at all for being disgusted.

Go Usa!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May the team show up for the game.

Ghana first goal.......2nd minute.

Wow, czechs are losing ..

Red Card? What???? and the kick is no good.

the czechs are out of this game now, now USA win

still plenty of time.........

down a man? no way

psh this game is bs

We have no healthy players left

told you....

its like playing in lunch time... they go up but then don't go back to defend hahaha, they're wayy too tired.. plus without baros and koller... recipe for disaster

Ghana played an awesome, very elegant game.

I noticed that about Czech too...toward the end they all went up so Ghana had so many off-sides...I thought they were just trying their hardest on the offensive since they had nothing to lose...

What was up with waving the Israeli flag, at half-time and after the win? (One of the players from Ghana took it out - a very small hand-size one - and started waving it.)

And if the USA loses to Italy, then Czech and Ghana are tied at 3 (and Italy advances at 6), what happens next? Do Czech and Ghana play again? Or does Ghana play USA and they advance if they win?

I was also reading some commentary and apparently Muntari and Gyan had 2 yellow cards throughout the tournament...what does this mean in terms of their playing in a tie-breaker game?

Thanks. Pretty new to the FIFA rules and whatnot, but am really getting into football now...:)
