<p>Gosh darn it! I have no idea who I want to root for anymore! I honestly want to root for France because if Zidane (and I probably will... Why not end his career on the highest note?), but I also like Italy. May I just call it even? :) This one is going to be difficult.</p>

<p>quite honestly...yea it was a really stupid move which ruined everything for France and his exit...but Materrazi was one heck of an a'hole and he deserved that punch...and he is known for doin that to players...hell I dunno if I would lose my temper in that situation...he was probably in the moment and just reacted to something really hurtful by that italian moron</p>

<p>France deserved that win...Zidane deserved a better ending...Italy sucks monkey butt and I love how Zidane is taking away the attention towards Italy's win. Zidane is still the best player, and that was evident by the best player in the tournament award he received</p>

<p>Cheers originally posted this link about Zidane in the Parents Cafe, and I'm glad she/he did. It tells a lot about Zidane's history and why the words from Matarrazi stung him so much. I may have been angry about his move yesterday, but I feel sorry for him now. He's had to put up with a lot from people. Even though I still think there was not excuse for the headbutt, now I can at least somewhat understand his reaction and even forgive him for it.</p>
