I still want the U.S. to win though.

I don’t watch but my brother… he said he intends on watching every one.

So, on every sport event I go for the opposite team he goes for. =P

“I still want the U.S. to win though.”
The U.S. will not win. I don’t watch soccer and I know this.

I didn’t state that they would win. I stated that I wanted them to win.

They won’t.

Well, that’s settled then. :)

I don’t know too much about World Cup soccer, but if the US can’t win and India can’t win, then I want Italy to win again.

Why do you put off the United States so fast? If we see Egypt-Spain-1st Half of Brazil USA, they’ve got a real chance to pull some magic. They should (I say should) get at least 2nd place. I think they will get 2nd place personally, and then you pull off a great game against Germany (no Ballack!!!) and then they are one step closer.

The team definitely has the potential to beat England, but only if they play a great game. I really hope they pull it off.

North Korea is going to demolish Brazil in Game 1.

2nd place in the group? Duh…

@honesto: you’ve got to be kidding me…

The fact that the US will finish second in their group and advance is pretty much the general consensus. However, Germany always performs in big tournaments and the US stands little chance of advancing.

World Cup. Friends put posters of their favorites on the class’ walls, making the class look like a stupid World Cup hawker.

I just like the theme song. :)

Hey, I’ve got my North Korea t-shirt all ready to go come June 15th.

I think I might even care if Italy wins. And not in a positive way.

So, I guess I want France to win. Or, at the very least, I want them to vanquish Italy.

N. Korea will win b/c what would happen to the players if they don’t win…motivation works wonders…hahahahah

A fair amount of the North Korean players are actually South Korean citizens who have North Korean parents. They could probably just flee.

I’m jking, but whatevs.

S. Korea > N. Korea :)

Um, excuse me? How many balls are you flipping?

uuh the sun is shining and I just realised how much I missed the passion of millions celebrating in the streets :D
