Real quick question: I’m taking the SAT 2 World History test in about one month. I have heard that reading over Barron’s is best, but I really don’t know if I have time to read over THAT long of a review book. I have the AP exam coming up in about 2 weeks, so I’ve already been looking over the “5 Steps to a 5” book. I was wondering if studying the “5 Steps to a 5” and the Princeton Review “Cracking the SAT 2 World History test” will be enough to make an 800 on the test? I’m really concerned, actually, because I still have to study for my other exams in addition to the AP World History exam and the SAT 2 WH exam. That’s why I’m not so sure that Barron’s will be the best for me. But, on the other hand, I really (REALLY) want to get a perfect score on both tests If you have any information that could possibly help me, please let me know. Thanks in advance!!

I got a 5 on the ap test using the princeton review book. Didn’t use it all that much but did a quick read through a couple of days before the exam

Then when i was taking my chem sat2, i realized i was the only one in the room taking one test. So, I decided to take world history without even studying haha

Anyway, I got a 770 on the test so I’m happy with that. If you study using those books, you’ll do great. Its an easy test to cram for. The Sat2 is more specific while ap world involves more relationships among societies. Some of the sat2 questions are a little outrageous but the answers are often from varying time periods so its easy to use process of elimination.

good luck to you!

Thanks for the info, yankee814! Did you take AP World History? If so, how long ago was it since you had taken the class when you took the SAT 2 World History? In other words, was the information still “fresh” in your brain, or had you not even looked over World History for a few weeks/months/years? Also, how well did you do in your history class? Thanks again! :)
