hey guys, so i was planning on self studying and taking the world history sat 2 next winter when they offer the test but im not sure how to study for it

i took world civ honors last year as a freshman btw

i have barrons and REA sat 2 wh test prep books but i dont know if its good (or even possible) to memorize every single page/section in these books... but should i just study EVERYTHING? is there more emphasis on one time period over another? is there an outline of general things i should focus on online? please help!!

also i know for science and math sat2s top tier colleges are generally going to look for 750+ but does the same go for world history?

I read Princeton and got a 780.
But then again, last year’s test was MUCH harder than the AP test.
And yes, 750+ is good. I know people who want to do pol sci majors and a 770 was enough for them to get into the top colleges.

nice!
but did u memorize ALL of princeton review? or like were there alot of things u skipped that u didnt think were important

Yeah, and I also used WHAP cram packets (you can find them on google)
TBH, I didn’t study much because I studied a LOT for WHAP… a lot of it is luck, because last year’s test was super random. So, my advice to you is, to probably memorize as much of the PR as possible, and if time, Barrons. IMO, PR is sufficient, but others might disagree.
