World History

I put a article from a merchant from india and japan. India- effect of silverflow on the merchant class, Japan- major exporters of silver, merchant article.

yeah you dont have to bring in historical information for the basic core, just the extended core.

i put a japanese person also

yeah... I also put a Japanese person!

yeah. i picked it because in the historical background it said something about how japan was a major participant in the silver trade.

DBQ: major :-(
COT: :-)
COM: :-D

the dbq is always my favorite essay because you dont have to know anything.

I did China for COT, talked about the change from Qin to Han but wrongly stated the Han as still being in power in 600 :-/. Hope that won't hurt me... After I finished the COT I noticed that they wanted some kind of world context so I made up some COMPLETE BS about how the filial piety thing was reinforced by the pater familias concept in Rome b/c of the Silk Road. Seriously, the graders are going to read that and be like "Damn, this girl is crazy..." But oh well. For compare/contast I did Russia and China. Am I the only one who had no idea about the Mexican Revolution? Something with an old priest, right? lol

haha wrong Mexican Revolution. that was 1814-1822 the one the AP was talking about was 1910-1920. I didn't know anything either. I just knew it had to do with land-reform so I did a lot of BS with that and compared that to communist land-reform.

took it last year...got a 3...thought i failed...gl to u all in AP US--you're gonna need it...:)

zucky, you do know that the change from Qin to Han happened at 200 B.C. and the time period for the essay was 100-600 A.D.

Oh no... I guess I'm screwed then. Thanks usafa at least I'll know the reason when I get a 1.

omg...don't even MENTION the essays. I just hope I did well enough on the DBQ to make up for the other two. I completely aced the multiple choice, so I hope I can still get a 3 or 4 :S

If you get at least 60 right on the multiple choice, you can get a 3 or 4 on all the essays and still maybe make a 4.

took it last year, loved the cot essay! we did something almost exactly like that in class. but last year's dbq i thought was hard. oh well, i still got a 5 :D good luck to yall!

don't need 60 right on the multiple choice--people have gotten 5's w/ 30% right on MC.
:D

here are my answers:

That looks like some good information as long as you hit the basic core. BTW why did you post twice?
