Is the SAT 2 World History test self study-able? I took a basic European History class but other than that I haven't studied world hist. Are there any books that can prepare me for the test by December(PR/Barrons?)? I am shooting for a 750-800

Thank you :D

The test is self-studyable, but you will need to hustle. The test is not easy if you don’t know the material. And since you said you haven’t studied world history…well that’s going to be a big uphill climb for you.

I have taken the test twice, and the test covers a lot of material (from 6000 BC to modern times, if I’m correct) as well as ask “ambiguous” questions at times. In short: Know your material inside and out if you want to do well on this test. Be aware what’s being asked in those questions, and you will fall into traps if you don’t know your stuff.

PR is a good book to brush up on your World History topics.
