Worried about admissions

Im worried about getting into CU… I have a 3.8 gpa but i got a 21 on my act and a 1090 on my sat. I’m taking another in August but to be honest I’m not very good at timed standardized tests. By graduation I will have taken 5 AP’s and been in 4 years of varsity sports. I’m in National Honors Society and am involved in extracurriculars/volunteering. what do you think my chances are at becoming admitted? Let me know honestly!

Also I’m an in-state student and I’m applying to arts&sciences

Your test scores are low for Boulder. Take a test prep course, study on Khan academy, work on practice tests.

But Boulder isn’t the only school in Colorado. Look at Mesa or UNC

Average SAT is 1250-1350, average ACT is between 25-30.

Yeah but my heart is kind of set on boulder
Do you think all hopes are lost?

Hopes are not lost - but see post #2

Retake your SAT. Middle 50 percentiles for class of 2022 Arts & Sciences admitted students are SAT 1160-1340, ACT 25-31. (Not sure where the SAT numbers in post #3 came from.) https://www.colorado.edu/admissions/selection For enrolled students, the overall middle 50 percentiles (which include the much higher scores for the engineering school) are SAT EBRW 580-670, SAT math 570-690, ACT 25-30 from the Common Data Set for class of 2022. Also check your high school’s Naviance scattergram, if available.

Thank you so much, I think I can bring up my score but if not that’s only the middle 50% correct? To be honest I still feel like I have an okay chance.
