Hey, everyone.

I was accepted at Yale, but in my first semester for my senior year, I received two Cs in AP Chemistry and AP Physics. In the latter class, 90% of the class was receiving Cs & Ds. The teacher gave one test, which nearly everyone failed. The class average was so low, that the teacher even admitted that he needed to improve and become a better teacher. This is his first year teaching AP Physics. I don't really have an excuse for why I'm doing badly in AP Chemistry, except that the class is notorious for extremely difficult exams and as of now, no one has an A in the class.

For second semester, my grades are largely staying the same. I am wondering if Yale would rescind me for having two Cs even though they accepted me with them my first semester. I am working my butt off, but my teachers are terrible. I'm not just making this up, because even my counselor told me that my AP Chemistry teacher had the lowest average AP scores for his class in the past five years, and that students have filed petitions to get him fired because he's awful. My AP Physics teacher is incompetent and even admits that he is. I know these all sound like excuses..

Is it likely they would rescind me? I am maintaining all As otherwise.
