Worried about Chances, Cornell Princeton Carnegie...

Hey there everybody. I've just finished my Junior year and am looking at colleges. I am leaning towards engineering, so I'm looking at the likes of Cornell, Stanford, MIT, Carngie Mellon, etc. However, I fear my credentials aren't up to par for these schools.

I got a 2150 on my SAT (750 M, 710 R, 690 W, 8 E) which is one of my biggest concerns. I was planning to take it in october, but hopefully senioritis won't get the best of me.

My GPA is between 3.7 and 3.8, closer to the latter, but as for the exact number I would have to double check.

EC...don't remind me about EC. This is definately a weak point. I didn't do much in my freshmen year, I did some more in sophomore, but in junior I had to quit sports to focus on SATs and such ( a decision I'm questioning now, but I digress). Heres my list:
2 years outdoor track
1 year cross country
1 year wrestling
1 year martial arts club
1 year Muslim Studend Association
( I worked as a student tutor for my chemistry teacher, but I don't know if that has a specific title)
1 year breakdancing club
My schools signiture program ( a more liberal program which culminates in a research project during senior year)
National Honors Society (only my senior year)

The biggest issue is a) most are only for one year b) I was never a leader or captain in anything (ouch).

I took AP Calc BC and Physics C: Mechanics, and got a 5 on both of those exams. Also, I recieved an 800 on the Match IIC and a 770 on the Physics SAT II exams. I'm not worried about letters of recomendations, as I have a number of teachers who could write them.

For my senior year, I'm stepping it up by taking AP Chem, Lit, Psycology(sp) and either Stat or Multivariable calculus. As for EC, I would like to go back to Wrestling and Track (if time permits) and will definately be a part of:
Muslim student association
breakdancing club
National Honors Society
Signiture program
Frisbee Club
Model UN
Its Academic (an annual interscholastic competition)
SAT Prep

Sorry for the long post, but any feedback would be much appreciated. And If I have overlooked yet something else, please tell me. Thanks a lot!

I think you have a good shot at Carnegie Mellon. Cornell it depends on what school you're applying to. I wouldn't worry that much about your SAT. It's gonna be hard to raise those scores, since they are high already. Try the ACT maybe? It's a different type of test and there's usually a difference between SAT and ACT scores, so possibly your ACT might be higher?
